God is the best teacher. I rather glean from him then any book or person.
Something happened recently which brought in a wave of emotions, mainly hurt and disappointment . I heard almost the same words of condolences from different people but in the background God was saying something different, something more profound. Over and over he kept repeating, "Where there is sin, grace abounds more." (Did you get that?) biblehub.com/romans/5-20.htm
That was deep and it struck straight at my heart. Who was I to be judge and jury? I had to repent. I had to shut my mouth and not say anything else contrary to the word of God. I had to show this person grace even though it wasn't fair, even though I got hurt, even though the other person was happy. I had to decrease so that He (God) could increase in the situation and in me. biblehub.com/psalms/51-17.htm
Not too long after this lesson, I heard a word that struck me. "Sometimes God lets your enemy prosper in front of you to see how you will handle it." God made me examine my heart and I needed a checkup. Have you had a heart check up lately?......JustFood4Thought
