During this time of singleness, God really has been good at reassuring me during the hard times. When I get weak, He is so good to remind me of how far He has brought me and the identity He has given me.
I look around and see woman giving of themselves to men who will not commit. I see woman settling for less than what they're worth. I see woman carrying luggage from broken and failed relationships only to hold on like it's a lifeline to something that once was.Through it all, I see and hear the emptiness of their souls and my heart breaks.
I look with wonder and think, "If only they knew their identity." God created them for a purpose. He called them by name. He created them in the palm of His hand. He had a purpose for them even before they were thought of. He called them to be above and not below. He called them to be warriors and mighty woman of God. He called them to cherish their body and give it to God. Only if they knew their worth . Only if they knew how special they are. Only if they knew how loved they truly are.
Then, only then would they be healed and set free. No longer would they have to conform to what a temporary guy thinks or wants from them. No longer would they have to bow down to anyone or be a doormat. No longer will they be second choice.
There is a serious identity crisis going on in the world today for both man and woman. They don't know who they are and the enemy has blinded them to the truth. This allows him to cause havoc and turn their lives upside down.
A survivor, that's what I am. God pulled me from rubble and restored me. He has set my feet upon the rock only to tell of His greatness. A survivor doesn't stay quiet. A survivor tells of the trials, struggles and victory. I will not and cannot let a woman live below what God has called her for. What God did for me, He will do for anyone.
Once you allow Him into your life, it gets flipped upside down. Only thing is, now your on top. Stop giving away your life to something or someone that isn't for you. Wait! Wait on God.....JustFood4Thought
