Vulnerability is the quality or state of being exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed, either physically or emotionally.
Vulnerability is a strong word with even stronger consequences. After all, who wants to be vulnerable, much less exposed? Who wants to be put on the front line only to be judged? I didn't until God showed me something great. He showed me that in my weakness, He is great.
That was probably the longest, most difficult season that I ever endured. Yet, at the same time, the best season God ever took me through. While it was difficult, God never left my side. When I was scared, He held me close. When it got too hard, He lifted me up. When my critics opened their mouth, He shut them. When my questionable past was exposed, He cleaned it.
During this time, He began teaching me who He is. Soon he began working on my heart by showing, teaching and imparting grace. Like Paul, who felt less the least worthy to be used, I too felt the same at one point. It wasn't until I finally understood this "grace" that He spent so long teaching me. Once I understood the significance of grace, my perspective changed and my eyes were open.
Now, I see that despite my past nothing is wasted. No moment in time, no mistake, no error, no bad choice is unaccounted for. He uses those very things to make something glorious. This is why JustFood4Thought was created.
He allowed that season of vulnerability to make me stronger for today. My past is an open book for you to find a place to begin the healing. There are too many broken women who need to hear the truth and good news of Jesus Christ.
For me to remain silent is an insult to what He did for me. What He did for me, He will do for you. He crawled with me through the trenches. He walked with me through the fire. He moved with every punch thrown at me. He took on the same scars to show His victory,
Be blessed and keep pressing on..... JenJenMarie
